Dave Alison, CFP®, EA, BPC, is an accomplished financial planner and entrepreneur with a passion for helping advisors take their business and planning capabilities to the next level.
As the President and a Founding Partner of Clarity 2 Prosperity, Dave serves as a mentor and coach to thousands of financial advisors nationwide. He has developed numerous holistic financial planning training and helped create The Tax Management Journey®.
In addition to his role as President and Founding Partner of Clarity2Prosperity, Dave is the President and Founding Partner of C2P, an organization whose purpose is to educate, train, grow, and support holistic financial advisors so families can achieve true prosperity. Dave is engaged across all aspects of the enterprise where he is focused on driving the company’s key growth initiatives and directing the overall corporate strategy.
Dave is also on the leadership team of Prosperity Capital Advisors, a nationally branded, planning-first corporate RIA bringing valuable resources and capabilities to independent IARs. In this role, he works closely with financial advisors leveraging his expertise in tax management, particularly in advanced cases with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
Dave’s ability to engineer advanced financial, tax, investment, insurance, and estate planning needs into one holistic plan also led him to found Alison Wealth Management, which serves clients virtually across the U.S. Dave is also a member of the Financial Planning Association®.
He has consistently proven to be a wealth of knowledge and skill for his clients and other advisors throughout his career, earning recognition for his skill and dedication in the financial services industry. A member of the Million Dollar Round Table premier association for financial professionals, Dave is committed to exceptional client service and improving the financial industry. In 2023, Dave was named to the InvestmentNews 40 Under 40 list for his accomplishments, contributions, leadership, and promise. Dave also was a winner of a ThinkAdvisor LUMINARIES award in the Thought Leadership and Education category for his work at C2P.
Dave and his wife, Alana, live just outside of Charleston, South Carolina; they are the proud parents to three beautiful daughters.
